FEMALE
1 & GRCH   TWYMANS’ CH NORGESKAUKATT GOJENTA-MI (67 31t) F 05.07.2008  A super girl with a wonderful temperament – she fairly flirted with the Blue Peter camera as she was being filmed. Lovely triangular head with a straight profile and that snooty look, large well feathered ears set high so that the lines from the ears follow the line of the head to the chin, oval expressive eyes set obliquely, level bite and good depth of chin. Well grown feminine body standing tall on the legs and balanced by a fully furnished tail that extended to the neck. Her double coat was gleaming with health and the woolly undercoat on the back was covered by coarser waterproof guard hairs.

Initialy  Gojenta Mi was awarded the reserve for this class. It transpired that the cat entered in the class receiving the grand position was not eligible to enter that class so the Grand Challenge Certificate goes to Gojenta Mi -

CH NORGESKAUKATT GOJENTA-MI. 67 31t. Still young but quite well developed girl. Strong body with exceptionally long full tail. Strong in the legs. Has quite good triangular hard lines, but a little narrow. Medium size tufted ears.
Oriental shaped eyes. Long straight profile with firm level chin. Full coat and showing clear markings.

This young lady was a real stunner, so elegant & feminine yet with superb substance. Nicely defined head triangle with the large ears extending the contours & bearing good furnishings & tufts to the tips. Eyes well opened & obliquely set, beautiful long straight nose showing good lateral definition, level bite & strong chin giving impressive depth to the base of the triangle. Elegant body which was long, strong & muscular, long well boned limbs, a little taller to the rear & with large tufted feet. Wonderful full bushy tail of impressive length. Typical coat, nice & full with shirtfront & knickerbockers, showing deep woolly undercoat with the harsher waterproof top developing well. Well presented & with a confident personality.

AC Debutante Adult
1st  TWYMAN’S NORGESKAUKATT GOJENTA-MI - Judge S Crichton
A magnificent one year old brown tabby and white female Norwegian forest cat who was elegant with good body size for a girl shown in good condition and who had a pleasing alert expression. Correct triangular head shape showing a very good straight profile and a slightly rounded forehead with a firm balanced white chin. Large tall ears which were open at the base were placed high on the head forming a continuous line with the sides of the face with short black ear tufts. Oval shaped eyes were set oblique in the face and had greenish eye colour. The body was large and well muscled with solid boning, a broad chest and strong neck. The body was set high on the legs with the back legs slightly longer and had large rounded paws with white socks on all four legs. Excellent length of tail which was very long, reaching easily to the shoulders and which was very full and soft. The coat was semi long and had a full well developed ruff and knickerbockers with a woolly undercoat that had a long glossy top coat covering her back and sides and which had good brown tabby markings and  throughout. The bib and chest were white and she was in excellent condition and was very happy to be handled.

Brown Tabby & White Norwegian Forest Cat. A beautiful female with a gorgeous expression, so typical of the breed. Lovely triangular head shape, ruler straight nose, obliquely set eyes, green in colour. Large ears, set in line with the outlines of the head. Long body, standing slightly higher on the back legs, nicely boned limbs and feet. Long, well furnished tail reaching the shoulders. Full ruff and knickerbockers. Slightly harsher guard hairs covering the woolly undercoat. I know that colour and pattern are not important in the NFC, but her rich brown classis tabby coat is certainly worth a mention. Could have taken her home!

AC NORWEGIAN FOREST ADULT FEMALE
CC, TWYMAN’S NORGESKAUKATT GOJENTA MI, F, 67 31t, 05.07.08
Brown Tabby & White. The youngest in the class and a very well balanced girl with a lovely head shape. Large, well furnished ears, set high and in line with the triangular head, Large green, oval eyes, set quite obliquely, perhaps they could be marginally more obliquely set for perfection. Excellent straight line to the nasal profile. Firm chin, level bite. Long body, very good weight and muscle tone. Long legs which were very well boned, round paws. She stands high on the back legs. Well furnished bushy tail, reaching the shoulders. Lovely coat, especially for such a young female, full ruff and knickerbockers, body had plenty of woolly undercoat and glossy guard hairs which were slightly coarse to make the coat waterproof. Even though there are no points for colour, I must comment on her good classic tabby pattern. Super to handle and well groomed.

NORGESKAUKATT GOJENTA (67.31t) F 5.7.08. Brown tabby and white. Baby of the class at just over three months old. A very bonny kitten who is well grown for her age with very good weight. Standing taller on her back legs. Ears set high and open with lovely tufts and furnishings. Eyes possibly at touch small of an oval shape and I would have liked them a little more oblique for perfection, copper in colour. Slightly rounded forehead.  Long straight profile. Fairly firm chin. Not yet balanced in the length of head. Smooth top coat with the undercoat developing. Numerous guard hairs to the body. Very good colour to the coat and lovely tabby markings. White paws, chest and tummy. A very bonny baby who ran the winner very close.

1ST TWYMAN’S NORGESKAUKATT GOJENTA MI, 67 31t, F, 05.07.08

Brown Tabby & White Norwegian Forest Cat. A little cracker, full of promise. Only just old enough to be at the show and she shows a lovely clear triangular head with large ears which were well furnished and set high. Obliquely set green eyes of oval shape. Good straight line to the nasal profile. Good firm chin. Long body with back legs slightly longer than the front ones. Tail reached the shoulders, furnishing starting to lengthen. Soft baby coat with a ruff and knickerbockers. Lovely rich brown tabby pattern, worth mentioning even though it is worth no points within the SOP. Delightful to handle.
