Cat. A large mature
male showing a well
developed triangular
head of good overall
length and with
large ears which
were set in line
with the outline if
the head. I would
consider the eyes to
be green rather than
orange, though eye
colour is
unimportant in this
breed. Eyes were
obliquely set though
just a little deep
set. Long nasal
profile, virtually
straight. Chin quite
firm and of good
depth. Long weighty
and very muscular
body, substantial
boning to limbs and
paws, hind legs
slightly longer than
the front. Very well
furnished tail,
reaching the
shoulders. Full ruff
and knickerbockers,
coat of very good
length for a working
male in the summer
with some woolly
undercoat and longer
guard hairs over the
top. Very easy to
handle and a good
example of his
breed.
